The Maryland Coalition for Inclusive Education

is pleased to announce its first


Maryland Parent Leadership/Action Network


for parents of school-age students with developmental disabilities

and for self advocates, age 18-21,

who have developmental disabilities.

The Maryland Leadership/Action Network will sponsor a Leadership training series from April through November and will sponsor local Action Groups. The focus is on policy and systems change to increase and improve inclusive education in Maryland. La Red de Liderazgo y Acción de Padres patroncinara una serie de talleres de liderazgo de abril hasta noviembre y ofrecera grupos de acción locales. El enfoque sera la politica y sistemas de cambio para augmentar la educación inclusiva en Maryland.


MCIE is currently taking applications from Parents and Self-Advocates who live
in Harford, Baltimore, Howard, Montgomery, Prince George's, Calvert,
Charles, AnneArundel Counties and Baltimore City.
MCIE esta aceptando applicaciones de padres y estudiantes de edad mayor que son residentes de los siguientes condados: Harford, Baltimore, Howard, Montgomery, Prince George's County, Calvert, Charles, Anne Arundel, y la cuidad de Baltimore.

Applications are due at
12 noon on March 8th Las applicaciones se deben recibir antes del 8 de marzo a las 12:00 pm.
