Proper Lifting Techniques: Workshop Brief Recap (minus the complimentary tea & starbucks coffee)

"I wish more parents knew about this great resource, this has been a great session," a parent chimed in at this morning's workshop on "Proper Lifting Techniques." The low-key coffee gathering of parents focused on practice and review of proper ways to support and lift your growing child without causing harm to the health of the back muscles. Kennedy Krieger seeking volunteers for child development study

 

There is a study currently being conducted at the Kennedy Krieger institute that is looking at memory and learning in typical children (ages 11 - 28 months) as well as children with developmental delays (ages 36 - 54 months).
