A Stuck Penny and Car Seat Safety

 

My friend's four year old son put a penny in his car seat buckle... yes, it got stuck. As parents, there are some things you just can't make up! This past week happened to be National Child Passenger Safety Week and this particular incident provided pause for my friend to ponder if the car seat was still appropriate for her growing son.

FREE EVENT THIS WEEKEND AT THE FRENCH EMBASSY for family and children with Special Needs!!

All families of children and youth with special needs of any kind are invited to a free event at the French Embassy this coming Saturday, Oct. 29. The Embassy, the Kids Euro Festival and KEEN Greater DC organized the event to make sure that kids with special needs have a chance to take in special performances without all the crowds.
