Building Bridges

A child’s early childhood experiences can profoundly influence how their brains will develop and how they interact with others, learn and participate in daily activities, and get their needs met. As a parent or caregiver, trust your instincts and how well you know your child. If you have questions about your child’s development, get help early. Don’t lose time waiting to see if a concern “goes away” — delays or disabilities are more likely to be minimized or resolved when they’re addressed early.

MCITP COVID UPDATES

Important Update for  MCITP Families

The Montgomery County Infants and Toddlers Program (MCITP) is committed to the continued provision of early intervention services to eligible children and their families during the COVID 19 pandemic. While the Montgomery County Public Schools are closed, our leadership team has been hard at work planning for the resumption of early intervention services.  Our early intervention providers began working remotely from their homes on Monday, March 30.  The following plan is in effect to resume ITP services and virtual family coaching sessions using distance-learning technology. The Montgomery County Infants and Toddlers Program (MCITP) is committed to the continued provision of early intervention services to eligible children and their families during the COVID 19 pandemic.
